Poipu: the Best Beach for Us

We spent most of our beach time at Poipu Beach on the south shore of Kauai, Hawaii. The sheltered sandy cove was perfect for kids. It even had colorful fish in the water, visible with swim goggles.  Plus, we were staying nearby.  In addition, this part of the island is sunnier than the north shore, which is also a very nice place.

I have heard of cases when it got pretty crowded, though. So you might check out the north shore too.
